"I must say that this body of work stands strong, even when separated from the nostalgia of the very familiar subject matter. William uses a very difficult medium to create imagery that rests lightly on the paper, and is just flat-out pleasing to look at."
"As an artist, I can fully relate to Bill's efforts. The beauty of the watercolor medium lies in its unforgiving and immediate representation of life energy. Spontaneity is key, as well as the courage to move toward completion. When it works, it works very well, and I feel that Bill has succeeded in creating a vibrant, cohesive show. Plenty of energy here. A nice, playful dance of color that speaks volumes about Bill's many years working with this difficult, seductive medium." -Tyler Pierce
